Get the Most Out of Microsoft Teams with Copilot Training

 

Dear Howard University Community,

We’re excited to announce that Microsoft will be providing training on how to utilize its new Teams Copilot feature! 

Teams Copilot is a built-in AI assistant within Microsoft Teams that leverages large language models, Teams data, Microsoft 365 data, meeting transcripts, and more to help users be more productive.

Some of the key capabilities of Teams Copilot are:

🗨️ Chats & Channels
- Improved functionality for conversations.
- Can summarize recent discussions.
- Identifies decisions, open tasks, and unresolved questions.
- Answers questions based on chat history.

📞 Meetings & Calls
- Generates transcripts during or after meetings.
- Summarizes discussions, lists action items, and highlights unresolved questions.
- Provides recaps to help late joiners catch up.

✍️ Message Composition
- Assists with drafting or rewriting messages.
- Corrects grammar, adjusts tone or length, and clarifies content.
- Adds translations or extra context.

🔍 Search & Q&A
- Answers free-text questions.
- Can respond to queries about earlier topics from chats or meetings.
