Learn about the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) and On Campus Printing

Printing just got a new look! Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) just introduced a new printing process for the iLabs located in the Undergraduate Library (UGL) and Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library. 

To ensure a smooth and seamless printing experience, be sure to complete the new registration steps before attempting your next print job. A few quick steps can help you avoid delays when you’re ready to print your documents. 

Check out the steps below and get registered before your next print job! 

New Printing Registration Process for Computer Labs

Step 1: Sign In and Install the PaperCut Print Deploy Client 

  1. Sign in to the device using your Howard University credentials. 
  2. On the taskbar (lower-right corner), click the Show Hidden Icons arrow. 
  3. Select the PaperCut Print Deploy Client. 
  4. Click Sign In to install. 
  5. Enter your username and password to complete the sign-in process. 

Step 2: Print Your Documents 
Once installation is complete, you will be able to print from any application by selecting the XRX_FIND_ME_STUDENTS printer. 

  1. Click the keyboard icon in the upper-right corner of the printer. 
  2. Select the print job you would like to print. 
  3. Choose your desired print options. 
  4. Click Print to complete.

As a reminder, please remember to register for the Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). SSPR is a secure and convenient way to manage your Howard University account credentials without needing assistance from the Help Desk. 

Once enrolled, you can reset your password, unlock your account, and verify your identity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Get Started in Just 3 Easy Steps 

  1. Visit https://aka.ms/ssprsetup and sign in with your Howard University credentials.  
  2. Add at least two verification methods, such as your mobile phone, alternate email address, or the Microsoft Authenticator app.  
  3. Verify your information and save your settings.
