A New Look is Coming to the LSHSL iLab!
Something new is on the horizon!
This summer, Enterprise Technology Services (ETS), in partnership with Facilities Management (CBRE), is transforming the Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library (LSHSL) iLab into a refreshed learning space designed to better support the university community.
From upgraded technology and modern furnishings to a refreshed aesthetic, the renovated iLab will offer a new look and an enhanced experience for students, faculty, and staff.
At a Glance
Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library iLab will be temporarily closed from July 14 to August 7, 2026. The Alternative study space is the Undergraduate Library (UGL) Quiet Room. Target reopening time is before Bison Week (August 10).
What's Changing?
The renovation will include:
- Updated technology and workstation configurations.
- Modern furniture and improved workspace layouts.
- Infrastructure enhancements to support future technology needs.
- A refreshed look that celebrates the Bison spirit.
As part of the transformation, ETS is exploring opportunities to engage the Howard community in creating a space that reflects our creativity, pride, and tradition. Stay tuned for exciting opportunities to shape the iLab's new look.
