Participate in Q3 Cybersecurity Awareness Training

 

Dear Howard University Community,  

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Quarter 3 Cybersecurity Awareness Training modules, which reinforce our dedication to safeguarding our network and users' data. 

Your participation is vital as we collectively strive to enhance our institution’s cybersecurity posture. Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 15, you will receive an email from "Mandatory Howard Cybersecurity Training," with the subject line "Welcome to the Quarterly Cybersecurity Awareness Training.” 

Please note that this email is NOT spam and comes directly from the training platform KnowBe4. It will be addressed to you and contain the training links and required completion date. A sample email is listed below for your reference. 

For those who prefer a mobile app, the KnowBe4 application is available for download in your mobile device store (i.e., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Search for the KnowBe4 Learner App and follow the instructions located here to access your training. 

All employees are required to participate in these quarterly modules, and each module is designed to elevate your cybersecurity awareness in 20 minutes or less. More information on the University's cybersecurity policy is available for reference on the Enterprise Technology Services site. 

If you are a manager, please view the 'Dashboard' tab, where you can access your ‘Team Dashboard’ and view your team members’ progress. Please encourage all team members to complete their training.
