Network Transformation Successfully Completed
We are pleased to share that Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) has successfully completed our Network Transformation initiative, meeting our project deadline. After more than a year of strategic planning and preparation, all 85+ campus buildings have been successfully transitioned to the Ralph Bunche Data Center, marking a transformative milestone in our digital infrastructure modernization.
Mission Accomplished
During the winter break migration window, our dedicated teams worked tirelessly to complete the building-by-building cutover. Every campus location, whether previously connected via physical fiber or requiring new hybrid connections with equipment, now benefits from robust connectivity and built-in redundancy. This advancement delivers improved performance, security, and operational continuity for our entire Howard University community.
A True Team Effort
We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this transformational project! From the technical teams who executed the migration to the campus, to the community members who accommodated the maintenance window. Your patience, flexibility, and support made this success possible.
The comprehensive planning that began over a year ago, combined with the focused execution during our migration window, has positioned Howard University with a more secure, resilient, and future-ready network infrastructure that aligns with industry best practices.
