Microsoft recently released updates to Outlook designed to enhance productivity and streamline your email experience. Since September 23, 2024, users have had the option to explore the new Outlook using a toggle feature. The release’s official rollout began on February 3, 2025, and some users may have already received this update. This new release introduces several innovative features aimed at increasing your overall productivity.

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing productivity and leveraging innovative technology, we are excited to announce that Copilot Chat will be enabled in Microsoft Teams beginning today, March 11. This AI-powered assistant is designed to streamline your daily tasks, improve collaboration, and boost overall efficiency. What to Expect: Starting today, you should be able to use Copilot Chat directly within Microsoft Teams.

Starting February 22, 2025, we are rolling out an important update as part of our continued commitment to enhancing the security of our online meetings and protecting sensitive data. What’s Changing? Starting February 22, 2025, all unverified and anonymous users will be required to complete a CAPTCHA, and third-party note-taking applications will no longer be permitted to join MS Teams meetings.

We are thrilled to share an exciting new update that builds on the foundation of your experience with Enterprise Technology Services (ETS): The ServiceNow Virtual Agent. On February 7, we launched the Virtual Agent for IT Service and Support. This intelligent assistant is available 24/7 to assist with: Instant resolutions, automated troubleshooting, smart conversations, ticket creation, self-service knowledge base, multi-channel availability.

Bad actors are continually enhancing their methods, which makes it even more important for you to stay vigilant. Please be cautious when clicking on links or sharing personal information, especially if you receive unsolicited emails or text messages.

As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, we are excited to announce the implementation of Data Sensitivity Labeling for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and financial data across our Microsoft 365 environment. What to Expect: Beginning February 17, you will begin to see sensitivity labels applied to documents and emails containing PII and financial data. Read more here!
